How Pet Travel Works
STEP 1 : Contact us for a quote
Get in touch with a member of the Departure Pets team for more information on your 4 legged family members next big adventure. We are highly experienced with animal travel both around Australia and the globe and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. You can request a quote here, or give us a call.
STEP 2 : Make a booking
Welcome aboard Departure Pets! At this stage of the process, we will take all relevant details for the sender, receiver and of course your gorgeous furry flyer! We will then proceed to organise the best flight date and route possible for both you and your pet.
STEP 3 : Health check and permits
We will now organise all required veterinary protocol and appointments, import and export permits, flight dates and most direct routing.
STEP 4 : Pet collection
A Departure Pets animal handler will collect your loved one and welcome them into the DP's pet hotel. After getting them fed, relaxed and given lots of cuddles and love, will be taken to their final health check. From here we will prepare them for their big adventure!
STEP 5 : Your pets flight
Its the big day! Your pet will be given lots of cuddles and love, then settled into their personal sky crate and will be rested and ready for their flight. We will personally take them to the aiport and will keep you updated along the way.
STEP 6 : Your pets arrival and reunion
Welcome home! You are now reunited with your beloved family member. Thank you for choosing to fly with Departure Pets!
